Installation Precautions

Thank you for your interest in Clio products.
We are always working for better products.

  • Network switches are more difficult to install than general light switches and are expensive products that contain CPUs. It must be installed by a professional technician.
  • There is a risk of electric shock, so before installing the product, be sure to turn off the power of the circuit breaker throughout the household before installing.
  • Please check the wiring diagram accurately to make sure that the wiring is the same, and then connect it to the appropriate terminal.
  • If the L line and N line are connected upside down, be careful not to turn on the light even if you connect the light line.
  • Even if the L line is properly connected, the controller may operate if the lighting line is changed and inserted into the N line insertion hole. In this state, inserting N line into the light line insertion hole to turn on the light may cause damage to the switch.
  • When emergency power is connected to the switch, be careful not to exchange the lighting power and emergency power.
  • Pay attention to the polarity when connecting the UTP for communication with the home network. If the polarity is not correct, communication is not possible.
  • When cleaning the product, only wipe it with a dry cloth. There is a risk of electric shock when using water or detergent.
  • Do not use chemicals such as wax, benzene, alcohol or thinner on the product. There is a risk of product damage or fire.
  • Do not apply strong force or impact to the product or press the Touch Key with strong force.
  • Do not apply fire or heat to the product.
  • When using the product, do not continuously press the Touch Key as a joke. The product may operate abnormally.
  • Do not insert chopsticks, wire, or awl into the opening of the product. It may cause electric shock or malfunction.
  • There is a risk of damage to the controller or fire if more than the permitted capacity is connected during interior construction.
  • Disassembling or modifying the product arbitrarily can be dangerous, and even if the warranty period has not passed, free A/S is not available, and the company is not responsible for any accidents.

The warranty period for Clio products is one year after construction (installation), and any inquiries about the product or A/S application.
